grace*ologie – women’s ministry, done differently

what do you do?

We are passionate about creating special events that encourage, inspire, and challenge God’s women in a warm, welcoming, nurturing environment. grace*ologie is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-denominational Christian women’s ministry.

what happens when I get there?

The morning begins with a catered brunch or luncheon followed by some terrific music and a relevant teaching for our lives from God’s word. The next part is where you interact with the message and it varies. We’ve had prayer stations,  table discussion, and a quiet reflection time at different events. We end our time together with  a time to share our stories and insights. Periodically we change formats just  to keep things fresh and new. View the event photo galleries .

who leads the teaching?

Rebecca Grayson leads the teaching time. She has led and counseled women for over 10 years and is passionate about sharing God’s word with women. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Christian Leadership at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. You can read more about Rebecca here.

where are the events?

Again, to keep things fresh and new, we hold our grace*ologie gatherings at a variety of  locations. We believe in having “church outside the church”. When you are outside of your familiar church environment, you can experience God’s word in a new way and you don’t have to worry about who is cleaning the kitchen or putting up the tables! We do it all for you as a ministry of grace. Stowe Botanical Gardens, the Waddell Barn, and Palisades Country Club have hosted grace*ologie events.

when do they happen?

The remaining event dates for 2012 are June 30, August 25, October 27, and December 8. Sign up for our weekly updates so we can send you details and registration for each gathering.

how do I register?

6-7 weeks before an event, we will open registration. Just click on the link and register on-line. You can pay on-line or mail a check  to reserve your spot. The event fee includes your meal, the conference, and your materials.

can I bring a friend?

Yes! Please invite your friends and let them know about grace*ologie. Everyone is welcome and wanted.

what if I don’t want to participate in the interactive time?

Hey, that’s quite alright. We want everyone to be comfortable. “Interactive” is not everyone’s thing and the thought of small talk can cause anxiety. At grace*ologie gatherings, you are free to just spend that time praying, reflecting, or just hanging out!

what do we eat?

Each event features a catered meal, usually buffet stye and sometimes plated, according to the venue’s requirements. For each event, we try to have a balance of delicious indulgences along with some healthy servings, like fresh fruit, too.
