are your prayers big enough?

I asked the ladies at our Restore retreat to pray for grace*ologie to grow and serve more women. I asked them to pray for attendance at our events to increase ten fold. Dagnet waited for me after the event. She said she needed to tell me something. She said my prayer was too small for our mighty God. Her message is inspiring and true. We serve a mighty God who longs to give us the desires of our hearts. God is able to hear and fulfill the smallest AND the largest of our hopes and dreams.

So … I am trying to write my bio and I find it painful to write about myself in general, but in the third person is even worse. This clip from The Help where Abilene teaches Mae Mobley the most important things about her identity encourages me. The most important thing is not what we’ve done or accomplished. The most important thing is who we are and whose we are. When we feel like aren’t important to anyone else, we are always important to God.
